Norway’s farmed cod prices double since the beginning of April; wild-caught prices fall in Scotland

Norwegian farmed cod prices have nearly doubled since the beginning of April, according to data aggregation from the SeafoodSource Pricing Portal.  The price growth appears to be related to low production volumes, which have seen a corresponding drop off throughout April.  In March, for instance, Norway traded 8.26 million kilograms of farmed cod.
