Russian Fishery Company replaces CEO

The Russian Fishery Company (RFC) announced on 2 November that Fedor Kirsanov has been replaced as the firm’s CEO.

Viktor Litvinenko, who formerly served as RFC’s director for its Far Eastern division, has been picked to replace Kirsanov as the company’s new CEO.

Litvinenko has been working out of Vladivostok, where RFC’s business management operations have been centralized since late October. RFC confirmed that it is now registered in the capital of Primorye and will continue to develop there, and that its latest shifts and appointments have been made to increase efficiencies.

“Changing the registration address of the company and relocating the office is a decision dictated by a reduction in administrative costs and an increase in the efficiency of the RFC,” the company said in a press statement. “Among the priority areas of the company are a substantial renewal of the fleet, the development of the Cruing center, and access to new sales markets with competitive products of deep processing. The seven-hour time difference between the Vladivostok and Moscow offices previously hindered the effective implementation of these business goals.”

An experienced manager with fishing expertise, Litvinenko is highly regarded by RFC and the industry for his connection to the sea.
