Pacific Seafood has opened a business office in Hamburg, Germany, marking the first time the company has opened an office in Europe.
The company said the expansion will support its Mission 31 initiative – Pacific Seafood’s plan to double the size of the company by 2031. Pacific Seafood recently launched a refreshed brand and also purchased a processing and distribution business in Doral, Florida, U.S.A., which followed up on its acquisition of Trident Seafoods’ Kodiak, Alaska-based processing facility.
“Pacific Seafood is uniquely positioned to meet the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable protein across Europe,” the company said in a release. “The company offers a vertically integrated supply chain, providing customers with reliable, direct-from-the-source access to wild species such as whitefish, coldwater shrimp, and salmon, as well as aquaculture products like steelhead and oysters. Pacific also offers a variety of value-added products and custom sourcing solutions.”
During the 2025 Seafood Expo North America, Pacific Seafood Vice President of Resource Sales and Processing Ashton Meier told SeafoodSource the company currently has three operating divisions and sees big opportunities inside the current marketplace amid ongoing industry consolidation.
