True World Group has announced the appointment of Robert Bleu as president and Lawrence Mulvey as director of business development.
Prior to joining True World, Bleu served as president of Shining Ocean for six years, and worked for the company for more than 21 years.
“Robert is a proven performer who has brought exceptional results during his tenure as president of Shining Ocean,” said Alex Choi, True World CEO. “As president of True World Group he will now bring his leadership and creativity to open new markets for the entire group and take us to the next level.”
Mulvey has 30 years of seafood industry experience, including more than a decade at Trans Ocean and a period of service at Tai Foong USA. He served as VP of business development at both companies.
“Larry has deep connections in the U.S. retail market and is very talented in data analysis and category management. He will be working on creating a united product offering from our different group companies to retailers and western foodservice. We are excited to have him on our team,” said Bleu.
Tracey Schwartz, current Shining VP, will succeed Bleu as president of Shining Ocean. She has served at the company for more than seven years.
“Tracey has played a key role in our last six years, where each year resulted in a new company record for sales. The organization is in capable hands going forward,” said Bleu.
