Puerto Montt, Chile-based Atlantic and Pacific salmon producer Invermar has announced a rebrand that reflects the company’s recent milestones and long-term goals for its evolution.
The new logo employs mustard text on a dark blue background, with stylistically rendered salmon swimming through waves in various shades of dark blue.
"We are excited to share this new phase with our employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and the broader community," Invermar General Manager Christian Fernández said. "It will be a symbol of our culture focused on excellence and people. Furthermore, we aim for it to better represent our purpose: From the sea, we contribute quality food to the world respecting people and the environment."
"The rebranding represents the culmination of consistent advancements in various areas of the organization over the past few years, [including the] integration of technologies such as recirculating aquaculture systems in the land-based production phase, significantly reducing the water footprint and marking a concrete step toward sustainability," the company said.
The company also pointed to its implementation of remote feeding and artificial intelligence in the seawater growth phase as substantial steps the firm has taken in animal welfare and fish quality.
"These technological advancements position us prominently in the market and allow us to offer products with unique attributes, reaffirming our commitment to excellence, supported by the nine certifications that ensure the traceability we proudly maintain,” Fernández said.
Invermar started as a family business in 1987 and was an early large-scale Chilean salmon producer. It is a subsidiary of Chilean seafood firm Alimentos Marinos.
