Acme rolls out new Salmon Convenience Pack

Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.-based Acme Smoked Fish Corp. is launching a new “Convenience Pack” of smoked salmon.

Its Smoked Nova Salmon Convenience Pack (8 ounces) includes four single-serve, individually-sealed packs of Acme’s classic Smoked Nova Salmon, offering “freshness and convenience for a snack, lunch or on-the-go meal,” Acme said in a press release.

The new product, a finalist in the 2020 Seafood Excellence Awards, is launching in Harris Teeter and will expand to other retailers.

“We are happy to introduce one of our customer favorites in an all-new format designed for convenience,” Acme Co-CEO Adam Caslow said. “Our Smoked Nova Salmon Packs are perfect for people looking for the convenience of a single-serve.”

Acme also recently launched Atlantic Smoked Salmon Candy and Smoked Salmon Poke Bowls.

Acme offered serving suggestions for the smoked salmon, such as rolling the salmon with cucumber sticks and yogurt dip and spreading it on flatbread with tomato slices.

The Atlantic-sourced salmon is cut at Acme’s production facility, then cured using the family’s blend of ingredients. The salmon is then slowly smoked using real hardwood, Acme said.
