Bristol Seafood debuts new My Fish Dish offerings, including Grab & Go items

Bristol Seafood has debuted a new line of Grab & Go seafood offerings under its My Fish Dish brand, the Portland, Maine-based supplier announced on Thursday, 27 February.

First revealed back in March 2019, Bristol’s My Fish Dish range for retail features high-quality seafood along with seasonings, sauces, compound butters, and marinades “to give the home cook a convenient way to achieve restaurant results,” the company explained. The line’s initial entrants included Blackened & Smoked Butter Wild Scallops, Lemon & Herb Butter Wild Scallops, Sesame & Seaweed Teriyaki Wild Scallops, Blackened & Smoked Butter Wild Cod, Lemon & Herb Butter Wild Cod, and Sesame & Seaweed Teriyaki Wild Cod.

In 2020, the brand is entering new supermarket realms with its Grab & Go offering, “a slack-n-sell item, with third-party validated shelf life of ten days from thaw, all with zero preservatives,” Bristol said in a press release. In addition to its new Grab & Go seafood items, Bristol is also introducing wild-caught cold-water shrimp to the My Fish Dish line, as well as new flavors such as Lemon & Pesto Butter, Sweet Chili, and Garlic & Herb.  

"My Fish Dish starts with quality seafood, pairs it with perfect toppings, and makes it a snap to prepare,” Bristol Seafood Vice President of Marketing Iréne Moon said. “Consumers found it in over 800 stores at the end of 2019, and we look forward to making it available to more shoppers in 2020. In addition, we’re proud to share that My Fish Dish featuring blackened & smoked butter wild North American scallops is a finalist for the Seafood Excellence Award. The winner will be announced at SENA in Boston."

The company will be showcasing its new My Fish Dish products at Natural Products Expo West, from 4 to 6 March, and at Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America, taking place in Boston, Massachusetts from 15 to 17 March.

Bristol Seafood, which was founded in 1992, was named as one of 12 finalists in the 2020 Seafood Excellence Awards competition for its My Fish Dish Blackened & Smoked Butter Scallops. Winners of the competition will be announced at Seafood Expo North America on Sunday, 15 March. The company’s My Fish Dish range was also featured in SeafoodSource’s latest “Top 25: Seafood Product Innovation” list.
