Dutch seafood company Anova Seafood has announced it will be introducing a number of products at Seafood Expo Global in Brussels in April, including a line of shrimp certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC).
In a statement, the company said it is introducing the ASC-certified shrimp sourced from Vietnam into the Dutch retail markets as part of its “Simply Tasty” portfolio.
“The concept and its products have been very well received by retailers and A- brands in Europe that want to differentiate themselves in the market,” said Hendrik Colpaert, commercial director at Anova. “The ASC-certified shrimp is a welcome contribution to this portfolio.”
The company will also demonstrate its new Skinpack seafood product line at the show, though the products have already been introduced to Dutch supermarkets. Anova also plans to introduce a new company logo and branding.
