Fedor Kirsanov replaces Andrey Teterkin as Russian Fishery CEO

Russian Fishery LLC will replace its CEO after a decision made at its most recent general meeting of shareholders.

The company, one of the largest seafood companies in Russia, will appoint former deputy CEO Fedor Kirsanov to the post, replacing Andrey Teterkin. Kirsanov will take over the top job at the company on 1 August, 2018.

“Under [Kirsanov’s] supervision, the company…launched large-scale new fleet construction project within a very short period of time,” Russian Fishery said in a press release. “The RFC Board of Directors expressed confidence that under the leadership of Fedor Kirsanov, the company will continue successful development, implementing large-scale and ambitious projects.”

Kirsanov has 10 years of executive experience in the private sector, including previously serving as CEO and chairman of the management board at Polyus CJSC, a gold mining company. He holds an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management.

In a press release, Russian Fishery majority shareholder Gleb Frank thanked Teterkin for his six years of service as CEO.

“During this period, RFC demonstrated efficient and dynamic growth and became one of the leaders of the Russian fishery industry and a significant player at the world white wild fish market,” Frank said.
