Seafood Expo Global’s 32nd edition confirmed to be largest in event’s history

The latest Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is confirmed to be the largest in the event’s history, according to event organizer Diversified.

The 32nd edition of the event, running from 21 to 23 April in Barcelona, Spain, currently has over 52,907 net square meters of exhibition space sold to date. Diversified said that figure is still growing, and already surpasses the prior record. [Editor’s note: Diversified also owns and operates SeafoodSource.]

The event will feature exhibitors from over 80 countries, with 62 national and regional pavilions. New exhibiting pavilions include the Association of the fish products producers "BG FISH" (Bulgaria), Maldives Fisheries & Ocean Resources Marketing and Promotion Corporation (Maldives), Instituto Yucateco de Emprendedores (Mexico), the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates- Madayn (Oman), Infopesca (Uruguay), and the Ministry of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (Venezuela).

“This extensive international scale, complemented by countries like Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, Norway, the United States, and Vietnam, ensures that attendees have access to an unparalleled range of products and solutions from every corner of the globe,” Diversified said.

Industry-leading companies scheduled to exhibit at this year’s edition include AquaChile, Azzopardi Fisheries, Balfego & Balfego, SL, Cermaq, Cooke Inc., Escal, Iceland Seafood International, Leroy Seafood Group, Kuyokuyo Co. Ltd, Mowi ASA, Multi X, Nordic Group, Parlevliet & Van der Plas (P&P), Pescanova, Royal Greenland, Salmar, Samherji, Sea Harvest, Seafood Connection, Unima, Viciunai, and more, Diversified said.

Several new companies will also exhibit, including Cheflink Seafood Ltd, Klaas Puul B.V., Mark Foods, Marr Spa, LLC, NTC Wismettac Europe B.V., Pan Euro Foods – Seafeast, PT. Misaja Mitra, Grupo Eurored, Catalina Food Solutions, and more.

Leading seafood processing companies will also be attending Seafood Processing Global, including Baader, CMA CGM, JBT Marel, Cocci Luciano, AKVA Group Akvaplast, Ace Aquatec, Saeplast, Multivac, Mediterranean Shipping Company, ULMA and more. New companies joining in 2026 include Scanvaegt, Gumusdoga Fish Feed, ECOLAB,  NORD Motorreductores S.A., GrupoEurored, and more.

The event will also debut the new Aquaculture Innovation Zone to highlight companies offering cutting-edge aquaculture solutions. The new pavilion will feature suppliers, startups, and researchers on a range of topics relevant to the aquaculture industry, such as management and monitoring, animal health and welfare, and sustainable feed.

Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is also hosting a conference program featuring a keynote by economist and geopolitical strategist Nomi Prins, titled “High Stakes, Shifting Tides: The Global Outlook on Seafood, Trade, Economic Pressure Points and Opportunities.” Alongside the keynote, the 2026 Conference Program will feature more than 20 educational sessions presented by seafood industry experts on a range of topics, including technological innovation and sustainable stewardship.

Key sessions will explore the integration of automation and machine learning alongside sustainable blue food policies and strategies, emerging market trends, and product innovation,” Diversified said.
