Erin has held staff writer and editor positions at a number of mission-driven organizations, and her freelance journalism has appeared in various publications, including Electric Literature and The Guardian.  She is also the author of numerous academic publications on the topics of gender, literature, and history.  Erin holds a PhD in English Literature from the Graduate Center, CUNY, an MA from Columbia University, and a BA from Smith College.

Sitagri Salmon Index has reported that prices for whole, headed, gutted farmed Atlantic salmon from Norway declined again in Week 14 after Easter failed to produce the price bump for which many had been hoping. Despite hopes of a pre-Easter price increase, the Sitagri Salmon Index has reported price declines for fresh headed, gutted farmed Atlantic salmon from Norway for the second week in a row.

Sitagri reported that Week 13, which occurred 23 to 31 March, saw a 5.4 percent week over week drop in the average per kilogram price for salmon weighing 3 to 6 kilograms. The Week 13 average for that category, traditionally the most popular, was NOK 91.01
