Poland and the Netherlands were the two biggest export markets for all categories of Norwegian salmon in weeks 29 and 30 of 2026, data aggregated by the SeafoodSource Pricing Portal and produced by the Norwegian Seafood Council has shown. Both the SeafoodSource Pricing Portal and Sitagri Salmon Index have reported that prices for fresh, whole Atlantic salmon from Norway climbed in Week 30.

Prices for Norwegian salmon, according to the Sitagri Salmon Index, were up again in Week 29, which occurred from 13 to 19 July.
Sitagri reported that the average Week 29 price of all sizes of fresh, head-on gutted (HOG) Atlantic salmon from Norway was NOK 65.20 (USD 6.78, EUR 5.86) per kilogram, a 1.4 percent, or NOK 0.90 (USD 0.09, EUR 0.12), increase week over week.
